Thanks to Catherine Beeks for sponsoring a great show at Brick By Brick. For photos of grampadrew and the other performers, click here. This was a very cool show. Be sure to catch future Accoustic Alliance Showcases and be prepared to be impressed by the amount of talent San Diego has to offer. Stay tuned for more gigs and get off your ass and go support local music...you'll be glad you did.

Radio:
In other news, "Alison's Loony Tune" and "Clairvoyant Adventure" are both getting airplay on 91X and FM 94.9. Be sure to call or e-mail Al Guerra ( alguerra@clearchannel.com ) or contact 94.9 here and tell them you want to hear more grampadrew.
FRSD 96.9 FM has added the entire EP to their playlist! You can listen to all these stations online. Just follow the links. You can also hear streaming audio at indie 911 (a great site, where you hear music free, and the artist gets paid!) and of course, the almost obligitory myspace.com

New Releases:
The new grampadrew EP, Clairvoyant Adventure is finished. This is the first release of the label. Check the MP3 page for sneak previews of all four songs. You can purchase the CD there as well. Support indie artists and get a shiny jewel box (with photos of cuba) and sparkly love songs about cats, being unstable, drinking and erections. All for $5.00! Who needs i-tunes? The mp3s are free, and your very own CD is only $1.25 a song.

What is Reverend Records? This is the site of an emerging record label. This site, like the label itself, is under construction. Stick around. Watch us grow. And thank you for your patience.

Nice collar. Are you really a Reverend, Reverend? When I was a young’n my Grandma used to drag me to church by the ear. She used to tell me that when I grew up, I’d become a preacher (I talked too much while squirming in the pew). On September 12, 2001 (my grandmother's birthday), I became an ordained minister with the Universal Life Church.

Good enough for me. Preach to me brother! You don’t have to ask me twice to sermonize. Gather here beneath the soapbox and I’ll tell you why I’m doing this. The major labels are wrong, the music industry is dying, and radio has gone completely corporate. Don't worry. I've come to save you from this infernal damnation.

You are right. We all need to be saved. Exactly how are you going to do this? Find out the plan. Here I’ll give you a brief idea of exactly how I plan to save your soul from corporate radio.

Cool poster art and graphic design by Maynard. He's damn talented and sexy too!
The Truckee Brothers
I'm a Truckee cousin. I've got my truckee name to prove it. You got a problem with inbreeding? Then you haven't seen these boys play!
Atom Orr
There is a striking resemblance between Cady Truckee and this Atom Orr character. I think they may be distantly related, but they both deny it adamantly. Either way, Atom Orr and The Truckees put out the most kick ass music you'll ever hear. So what are you waiting for? Check 'em out!

How many times to do I have to recommend Watt before the world gets it in it's thick head that the man is a genius?

Can a mortgage company be punk rock? I don't know. Do you really want it to be? I think honest integrity is the real key, and these guys have it. A rarity in any industry.
